The Arvon Foundation

During late 2008 we were offered a weeks residential writing course at the Arvon Foundation Centre in Shropshire, called 'The Hurst' which was John Osborne's house. The week, for which we will be eternally grateful for was heavily subsidised by The Arvon Foundation, which is funded by Arts Council England. In a word, Arvon rocks! I have heard talk of the merits of Arvon before from established and published writers alike. To anybody thinking of going, please do go! It is miles from anywhere set in acres of woodland and beautiful countryside
