Amerjit Kalwan

Amerjit Kalwan was a student at Loughborough college and studied fine art sculpture. She started off with stone carving and progressed to Film and Installaton Art. Intallation art is based on using a room/space as a canvas and allows the use of various materials within that space. The artist’s idea was to experiment with space distortion and this led to a very interesting exhibition sponsered by Apna Arts called Dresses + Smiles at the art Exchange in Nottingham.
