Chol theatre residency 2007
Chol Theatre again undertook a residency with us of their new production called 'A Tale of Pretty Deadly.' this story explores issues of youth culture and the growing popularity of mobile phones. The themes of storytelling, self-esteem and bullying are tactfully addressed in this great production. The residency took place at Rawlins Community College to an audience of over 200, made up of Rawlins performing arts students plus drama and english students from two local High Schools. The production took place on the 4th of October with follow up workshops the next day at the High Schools. During the workshops students were encouraged to express opinions about the production and the issues that were explored through music and 'beat boxing.'
