Days Without Direction by Ganisha Fatania
Days without direction/
really hard
We got all we could carry;
we had to leave lots behind.
There wera all sort of people
travelling with children
Followed other families
people died on the way.
We walked.
My mother sat on a cow
she was getting sicker by the second.
She could no longer walk.
Walking beside me
my older brother held my hand
I was terrified.
