Ch 23 (The prince is helped of the Elephant)

Prince       Seize him! (The guards rush towards Filippo. He is dragged away up winding stairs.)

Filippo      Leave me alone, let me go

(as he is being frogmarched (Away)

                Signor Khan will find me!

                           (Filippo is taken to a balcony.)

Prince                (Peers at Fillippo )(he then suddenly lashes out and

                                    head buts him in the Stomach.) Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Filippo               (Gasping with pain) What did you do that for?

Prince                Yay I can hurt a bigger boy. I can hurt a bigger boy

                           (Chanted)

Guard                 (pushes Filippo’s head to the ground with a foot by the Neck.) Bow down before prince Murad Bhakhsh.

Filippo               Grown. (Filippo looks up to see two black eyes staring at him.)

Prince                (still laughing on his Knees and lifts his chin up) I like You. (More examining) Forgive me Infidel, for giving you pain. Get up, get up! (Horses games are played around the balcony

Filippo               I like you too.

Prince                Silly clothes (runs around him laughing)

Older prince     Murad (a maid bows down) what are you doing playing with this Infidel?

Prince                He is my friend

Older prince     Guards take this boy away.

Filippo               But I have something that may interest you, a jewel that was crafted by my Father a Venetian jeweller.

Older Prince      In that case make sure that this boy is looked after. He shall be my guest.

(Says this whilst looking at the Guards
